The Orthodox Church of Saint Boniface in Kampen is part of the Archdiocese of Belgium, Exarchate of the Netherlands and Luxembourg of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople. The church was founded by His Eminence Metropolitan Athenagoras and the first Divine Liturgy took place on January 13, 2024.
The community follows the revised Julian calendar, also know as the Greek calendar. The liturgical language is Dutch, Greek, English and Church Slavonic. The church is visited by Dutch, Greek, Ukrainian and English-speaking churchgoers. You are invited for a cup of coffee or tea after the service.
The church welcomes anyone who wants to experience the Orthodox faith.
The Divine Liturgy begins at 10:30 am, which is preceded by Matins which begins at 9:00 am. A Liturgy takes place on the following days*:
Sunday April 27: Due to circumstances, there will be no Divine Liturgy celebrated this Sunday.
